Sheraton Towers Singapore Hotel Review

My husband and I are quite loyal SPG members so we were excited to get the chance to stay at multi-award winning Sheraton Towers in Singapore. This fantastic Starwood property is a deluxe hotel situated in the centre of the city along Scotts Road. Its great location makes it just a short distance from delicious hawker fare at popular Newton Circus outdoor food centre and renowned shopping in Orchard Road’s entertainment district.

The wide open lobby area, grand staircase and gorgeous use of stone that is prevalent throughout this Sheraton make it a timeless, classic hotel.

Food & beverage options at the Sheraton Towers include three award winning restaurants: The Dining Room, DOMVS, and Li Bai. The Dining Room (pictured above) is well known for its romantic and serene ambiance with cascading waterfalls (pictured below), rock pools and lush landscaped gardens.

Defined as “home” in Latin, DOMVS serves Italian food in an elegant but comfortable setting (stay tuned for our review). Named after the famous Tang Dynasty Poet, Li Bai is renowned for its Cantonese cuisine served in a grand table setting of jade, silver and fine bone china.

You can also indulge in delectably intricate desserts at The Pâtisserie by Pastry Chef Wong Teck Hwa or enjoy Afternoon Tea in the lovely Lobby Bar (see video). Additionally, the Pool Bar provides the perfect oasis for a cooling dip or basking in the sun while indulging in a wide selection of snacks and drinks.

Hotel amenities include an outdoor pool and the world renowned Clark Hatch Fitness Center, featuring a gymnasium, sauna, massage services and physical therapists.

Featuring elegantly detailed furnishings, the Sheraton Towers Singapore offers 420 tastefully decorated guestrooms. Each room includes luxurious pillow topped Simmons Beautyrest System beds covered in Frette Italian bed linens. And all guestrooms come complete with personalized butler service, flat screen televisions, two line speaker phones, thermostat controlled shower fixtures and plug-and-play broadband internet access. Wifi access is available for a fee but is complimentary for SPG Gold members. We stayed in a recently renovated higher level Deluxe King room with floor to ceiling windows, offering us a fantastic view of the surrounding area.

The Towers Executive Programme is available for Platinum SPG members and is specially designed for discerning business travellers who value extra comfort and privacy that befit their status. Its lounge is one of the largest and nicest club lounges we’ve seen at a Sheraton property. If you’ve been following our adventures on Twitter, you might have caught a glimpse of the chic lounge here.
