Christened by World Champion and Olympic Medalist Michelle Kwan, The Marina Bay Sands Skating Rink is a family-friendly space perfect for all ages.
This 600-square meter facility uses a state-of-the-art synthetic surface. Although there are real ice skating rinks in Singapore (i.e. Kallang Ice World), this particular rink is ideal for beginners, as the “ice” is not as slippery as real ice, so novice skaters won’t fall down as often.
Located on the Canal Level at The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands, right next to the regional street-food masters of Rasapura Food Court, the Skating Rink opens from 11:30am to 8:30pm daily. Admission is priced at $7 per hour for adults and $6 per hour for children (5 to 11 years old). Strap on a pair of their easy-to-buckle skates and get ready to glide!
