Usually, we are very brand-loyal to Starwood hotels because of their Starwood Preferred Guest points and fabulous incentives. However, for our stay in Toronto we found an excellent deal at Hilton Garden Inn, and decided to book with this chain instead.
Nestled in the heart of Toronto’s vibrant downtown Entertainment District, this Hilton hotel was conveniently located close to our conference. Part of the reason we decided to book with Hilton was because our room included complimentary wifi (often an extra charge at SPG hotels) and breakfast each morning at Marquis Lounge & Bistro (read our review of the restaurant here).
Our one King Evolution Room came complete with a Garden Sleep System Bed – a self-adjusting bed that conformed to our bodies for pressure-free, sleep-inducing comfort, and provided the perfect balance between comfort and support. Complimentary remote printing to their 24 hour business center was helpful when we needed to print our boarding passes for our flight to NYC. Our room was very spacious, and their ergonomic Herman Miller computer chair made working on our Macbooks super comfortable after the long conference. A fridge and microwave were in our room and 24-hour Pavilion Pantry convenience mart was always open for last minute needs. An indoor swimming pool and fitness centre were also provided, although we did not have time to experience either of them during our short stay.
Convenient location, excellent service and a comfortable room made the Hilton Garden Inn Toronto Downtown the perfect choice for our stay in Toronto. We would definitely recommend this hotel!
