The results have been tallied and the readers of Condé Nast Traveler have voted Fairmont Pacific Rim in Vancouver, BC as the #1 Business Hotel in the world within the magazine’s Best International Hotels for Business Travel rankings.
Fairmont Pacific Rim earned the top spot with an impressive overall score of 88.42. Notable hotel offerings include the exclusive Fairmont Gold level, ORU restaurant for a quick power lunch, Willow Stream Spa for post-meeting pampering, and iPad2 devices in all guestrooms with the recent induction of Press Reader that allows access to over 3,000 newspapers and magazines at the touch of a fingertip.
“The team at the Fairmont Pacific Rim has been committed to taking care of our guests since the day we opened, and it is their passion to do so that continues to be one of the primary reasons our guests return over and over again,” says Philip Barnes, Regional Vice President, Pacific Northwest & General Manager, Fairmont Pacific Rim. “We’re thrilled that their commitment is recognized through this award as the World’s Best Business Hotel.”
The hotel was the first Canadian hotel to introduce iPad2 devices with Intelity to its 377 guestrooms, offering guests an unsurpassed level of service. Fairmont Pacific Rim continues to take its service up to new digital heights with mobile check in and check-out, wine lists via tablets, and a virtual ‘business centre’ available to hotel guests through the concierge desk that provides laptops, iPads, and GoPro camera rentals during a guest’s stay.
