Crescent Beach is a resort community with residential beach cottages and B&Bs nestled along the long, picturesque stretch of ocean. Part of Metro Vancouver, family-friendly Crescent Beach is technically in South Surrey near White Rock, British Columbia.
Yesterday was the perfect beach weather – the sun was shining brightly with temperatures in the 80s (around 28 Celsius). While sunbathers were soaking up some of the last rays of summer, Sea-Doos and speedboats were zooming around the bay. Since the tide was out, people were swimming in the shallow water, kayakers were paddling the calm ocean, and sailboats were enjoying gentle sea breezes.
There are lots of eateries to choose from on Crescent Beach. From ice-cream & gelato shops to quaint restaurants and cute bistros along Beecher Street, but one in particular caught my eye: Sunflower Organic Grocer & Cafe (read our review of the little gem here).
