Driving through the streets of Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon), or any other city in Vietnam for that matter, you will encounter a plethora of motorbikes. Motorbikes, scooters, and motorcycles are the preferred modes of transportation in Vietnam for their convenience, ease of zipping in and out of traffic, and ability to transport just as many people as a four door sedan.
